Dangerous Goods Surcharge for Lithium Batteries
Effective January 1, 2017,
UPS and FedEx Express will no longer accept UN 3480 Lithium Batteries tendered as IATA Section II. Section II batteries to be
fully regulated as Dangerous Goods Section IB, $50.00 Dangerous Goods Handling Fee will be applied on each air shipment.

What payment method do you support?
We support all major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover via PayPal. At the checkout page, you will be transferred to the PayPal site and they will accept all major credit cards. Please note that if you do not have a PayPal account, please select the "Not a Member" option and they will just ask for your credit card information. They will NOT ask you to join PayPal.
Do I need to pay sales tax?
When ordering from BattDepot.com, the customer is considered the importer of the purchased products and will be responsible for any customs tax, import duties, goods and services tax (GST), valued-added tax (VAT), or any similar customs-related charges. Customs policies vary by country and BattDepot.com cannot make any guarantees as to whether or not shipments will be subject to customs-related fees. Please contact your local customs office for more information.
In addition to customs fees, customers may also incur other charges, such as administration or brokerage fees. These are handling charges incurred due to customs processing and clearance of your shipment. Customers are required to pay the relevant courier service upon delivery of the shipment.
Why am I transferred to the PayPal site?
We currently use PayPal as an option to handle our online transactions. They offer added protection for both you the customer and us the vendor. If we do not ship an item that you ordered, your money is protected as PayPal will return the money to you after an investigation into the incident.
What currency do you support?
We are currently accepting USD only.
